How Do Tiebreak Warhammer 40,000 UK Rankings Work?

Introduction

The Tiebreak Ranking system keeps track of player rankings for all kinds of wargames.

The system used for our Warhammer 40,000 rankings is based on an algorithm developed in Sweden by Joakim Rapp. Tiebreak, along with help and advice from members of the community, has built the algorithm into it's software making submitting events a breeze. Additionally events that are not run using Tiebreak's software can upload results for inclusion.

Eligibility

In order for an event to be eligible it must be the following criteria:

• The event must be listed in Tiebreak's calendar at least 31 days before the event starts.
• The event must have at least 16 players
• Tickets must be available to the general public online, either via Tiebreak's ticketing system, or by providing an external link directly to the ticket purchasing page

Once accepted, the event organiser can upload results via their Tiebreak account.
