Irish Guild Ball Championship - Getting There

      Hi everyone!

If you're thinking of flying into Dublin and wondering about getting to and from the airport, I can recommend the Aircoach (www.aircoach.ie). it runs 24 hours a day and Route 702 will leave you just outside the Ballsbridge Hotel where Gaelcon is taking place.

Alternatively a taxi from the airport will probably be about €30-40 depending on traffic.

If you have any queries about travel, accommodaton or anything related to the tournament, drop me a line at guildballpunditsdublin@gmail.com.

Irish Guild Ball Championships - The Prize

      Hello!

We've had 7 signups so far from 7 different Guilds. I'm hoping the Union and Brewers players among make yourselves known so we can have a full set without any duplications!

It's all still to play for of course, but I thought I'd make it clear what you are playing for! In addition to any prizes generously provided by Gaelcon and Steamforged Games, the Irish Champion will be getting a free trip to Steamcon in exotic Leeds in November where they will have a qualifying spot in the World Championship of Guild Ball! Exciting stuff!

Irish Guild Ball Championships - Some Updates

      Hi folks,

Here are some updates, since I have had some questions that need clarification! All of this will be added to the main tournament details post too:

      • The tournament will be a one-day tournament, please see the main tournament details post for a timetable.
      • I hope to be running more casual Guild Ball events over the weekend too, watch this space.
      • Since this is a sanctioned tournament, your team needs to be fully painted and based.

      • That's all for now, keep those sign ups coming!
